Total Newbie Question!
OK - I just installed CMSMS and have it up and running fine....I'm loving this but I'm wondering...I'm finding the themes posted for download on their site rather limited....Is there a good alternative resource for compatible themes? Preferably XML? I kind of envisioned a more substantial supply out there...I probably just don't know where to go....
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered....
Re: Total Newbie Question!
I'm not aware of another source specifically for CMSMS themes. But with a bit of work, essentially any theme can be adapted for use with CMSMS. Once you have it the way you want it, you can share it by exporting it as an XML file and adding it to the Themes repository.
Re: Total Newbie Question!
With "their site", you mean themes.cmsmadesimple.org ? As there are over 100 themes available for download IIRC....

Re: Total Newbie Question!
Yeah, I was referring to themes.cmsmadesimple.org. I'm finding that of the one or two that I like, some of the basic functions that I want are missing....This being said. I know I can modify the templates....I'm just new to the process so trying to avoid this if possible.
many thanks

If you explain what you are missing maybe someone will get a inspiration of it and make something similar to your needs.
But if you look at this video http://cmsmadesimple.org/uploads/media/ ... colate.htm you will see how easy it is to implement any opensource design you find anywhere on the net.

TorontoJoe: Be sure to share your themes to that site when you are finished so we can provide themes with those functionalities to others as well.
If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.
