CMS Themes Page suggestion

Post by uniqu3 »

I have no idea where to post this so i am posting it here :-)

I think that it would be nice or helpful in the Themes Page, that a Theme Author or all that Commented would have an option "notify on reply", that way a better and faster support could be given.

Just my humble thoughts :-)

As far as I know the themes site uses the Comments module and that is not a feature of the Comments module.

In time a feedback/rating module might be used which does support notification (by choice) but that opens up other issues.

Forgot one thing...

Thanks for your work in porting those themes over to CMS Made Simple. It really helps the project out.

Thank you,
well that was an idea about getting informed on comments, since when you upload a Theme and never ever read the comments you will never know if anyone had a problem with it.

I can definitely see the merit. I know I probably wouldn't return. The issue is the Uploads module and Comments module are separate but working together. Getting the comments module to notify you the "uploader" would definitely take some custom work, especially since the Comments module currently only notifies admins (by option) of new comments.
