I wasn't too sure where to put this so I'm chucking it here;
very soon I'm going to be started my final year at university! For my final year project I'm going to build part of a CMS or hopefully if i can build a full CMS either based on a Higher Education system (I.E. university admissions etc...) or base it on available accommodation for my university I'm studying at!
As part of my research for this, i would like to get as many views as possible to 'What makes a good CMS' in your own opinion, so if you have a spare few minutes i would really appreciate your thoughts
Many thanks in advance
Lou
Final Year Project Research
Re: Final Year Project Research
I'm biased. But in response to your "What makes a good CMS" question... all you have to do is install CMS Made Simple and you got my answer.
This is of course because CMSMS covers all of my needs, other CMS's are designed for other purposes. Overall the CMS needs to be simple to use, simple to understand and easy to learn. I'm not saying make it stupidly simple, I am ok with having to have some knowledge in web development to use it.

If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.
