Anchors in menu Content type: Internal Link
Anchors in menu Content type: Internal Link
I was wondering how I can use anchors when using Content type: Internal Link in the menu. I see how to link to a full page, but I need to target a specific portion. Is this possible?
Re: Anchors in menu Content type: Internal Link
Hi Susan,
I couldn't find a way to do that either.
I ended up creating an external link where I dropped the full URL with anchor.
It does take you to the right spot - but if that spot is on the same page it will refresh the page too unfortunately.
It isn't great, but it works. I've seen other people asking the same question, but nobody responded to them either.
Does that mean there isn't a proper way to add anchors to pages in menus?
Anybody know the right way to do it?

Almost.... work around style:
In tinymce you can set the link style to a href.
In the destination page, place an anchor where desired, let us call it 'here'
Now you can use the internal link button (in another page) to create a link.
Now edited the generated link, click the (normal) link button and add #here to it.
