Installation does not start

After I had installed some previous versions of cmsms  on the very same server now I got a strange installation problem. The installation does not even start, it always stops in the beginning with:

Cannot create /srv/www/htdocs/web6/html/config.php, please change permissions to allow this.

This is independent whether there is an empty config.php (666) or not. It even stops there if the script should have write access (777) to the main html folder. Any ideas?

I am using PHP Version 4.3.3 on Apache/2.0.48 (Linux/SuSE) and cmsmadesimple-0.11.2.tar

config.php should be a empty file in your main directory, chmodded to 777 to start installation. You also need the install folder ofcourse.

it still doesn't clarify wether mso has an empty config.php in his main directory?
