Only search specific groups of pages?

Post by tomgsd »

Hi all,

Is it possible to have the search module only search through a specific group of pages?

For example, if I have the following hierarchy:

home
about
    sub1
    sub2
docs
    sub1
    sub2

contact

Is it possible to just search the bold pages?  I would like to have two search engines though (one for the docs section and one for the rest of the site) so just un-indexing all but the "docs" pages seems to be out of the question.

As mark wrote your intention will not work with CMSms AFAIK.

But if you only want to search the bold pages and you can abstain from searching the others you can uncheck the entry "This page is searchable" on the tab "Options" in your page administration for all other pages.
