TinyMCE Missing?

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

TinyMCE Missing?

Post by dcx0014 »

I've installed CMSMS many times with no glitches. Pretty simple.

Last night however, I downloaded the latest build of 1.5.3, installed it and went to work.

I then noticed there was no WYSIWYG editor at all. The display WYSIWYG was checked. I made no mods to the code. Just a straight install as I have done many times. Checked Modules and TinyMCE is active. The only diferrent thing this time is that I am using a new web host. Could that be the cause? I am using current Linux, PHP, MySQL, all that.

See attached image of missing WYSIWYG. Any thoughts appreciated.

I did search the forums of course but did not find the answer. You were right however. I set permissions to 777 per install via FTP documentation but setting to 755 did the trick.

Thank you.

Thank you for this feedback. I've update the documentation with this hint. Hopefully it will lower support team pain.
Have fun with CMSms
