[Solved] Upgrade 1.4 > 1.5.3 "--Add Me - notification_to_handle --"

Hi, I've just upgraded our site from 1.4 ("Jamaica") to the 1.5.3 ("Arecibo").

When logged into the admin area, a piece of rogue text has appeared below the menu (between the breadcrumbs of the section you're in and the actual content of that page). It reads "--Add Me - notification_to_handle --".

Not a show stopper, but kind of annoying!

Any ideas on the issue?

Platform: Cent OS
Apache 2.2.11
MySQL 5.0.67
PHP 5.xish (not sure without looking)

Further to this, I'm thinking missing files following the FTP upload...

When you first login to the admin area you get a run of icons for different sections of CMSMS. The Main icon icon graphic is missing; it just has the text "main".

Check with System verification if you have broken files ....

Hi Alby, thanks for the tip. I didn't know about the System Verification. I had about 90 missing files, which I have now uploaded. This cleared up the initial problem, however I am now getting this:



Running the Verification, it says: "882 Files failed md5sum check". Most of these are in the modules folder. I have tried re-uploading everything it mentions, but it makes no difference to the Verification.

Perhaps my download of 1.5.3 was corrupt?

Try to reupload and change FTP type transfer

Hi Alby, I re-uploaded the entire admin folder and that seemed to fix it.

I've had a bunch of problems with FileZilla lately -- it seems to randomly miss/break files that it uploads.
