Thank you for reading.
I'm looking for advice on how i can use cmsms to accomplish a request by a prospective client.
They have requested a "members directory" that will allow the members to log in and manage their own information, ie: upload a logo, addy, phone num, etc...
I feel like if a combined a couple of modules I may get the flexibility this site is looking for.
Any ideas on how I can accomplish this would be appreciated.
I'm also trying to figure out how I can generate "request information" emails based on a members catagory listing...
Thank you for your consideration.
I'm fairly good with cmsms, html, and css.. not a php guru...

Self managed members directory
Re: Self managed members directory
Hi Tjinak

Please check this module: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/cguserdirectoryThey have requested a "members directory" that will allow the members to log in and manage their own information, ie: upload a logo, addy, phone num, etc...
RolfA replacement for the overly-simple UserDirectory module this module will allow creating directories from the frontend users database, and viewing various summary and detail reports. It will support (in the style of News and CompanyDirectory) multiple database templates, optional search integration, and various other features.

Re: Self managed members directory
Thank you for your response; although, I see no files to download for the CGUserDirectory.

The CGUserDirectory is very, very new.
You can download the test version from the SVN.
I heard there are coming several new releases out this week, I hope CGUserDirectory is one of them.

Re: Self managed members directory
I have not used SVN before but I'm willing to learn it. I do have a demo site that I keep up on my non production box for testing.
I have a deadline for proposal on my next project so I'm ready to test the latest cmsms release and this module, asap.
Thank you for the info.
