half a screen in image manager

Adding images and folders to the image manager - The viewing area looks to be full size but when I fill the image manager up there seems to be a definate stop line at 50% of the screen and the images will be cut off stacking along the left side only. Does anyone know what this is all about.

version CMS Made Simple 1.4.1

Just looked into FF and the half screen seems to only be in IE.
