Install failure on Mac OS X

CMSmadeSimple 0.3 fails to install properly on my Mac Powerbook running Mac OS X 10.3.3. The problem seems to be with my installation rather than the Mac. I followed the instruction to the letter until I reached the following:

    5.  Run autogen.sh to fix up permissions on the cache dir

Cannot find the shell script so I did a chmod 777 on the whole mess. Still no page appears when going to the site url. I can, however, login as administrator. All admin functions seem to work except for show site and preview.

Anyone know the answer to this one?

Any reason you are running version 0.3 and not 1.52 which is the latest?

What are the errors you see when you try to preview the site?
