Hi all.
As part of a sponsored project, I've written my own user directory module that has all the standard features that my modules do:
- Multiple Database Temples
- Pretty URL support
- Summary view
- with filtering
- with sorting
- Detail view
- Completely customizable templates
Also, this module will support a 'directory' view allowing you to create an alphabetic list of links to summary views that match a specified criteria.
It should allow you to easily create a user profile directory of your staff or team mates, and allow them to easily update their profile. Infact, with this module and CGFeedmaker, you should easily be able to create an RSS feed of user profile pages. Neat eh.
Also, stay tuned in the near future for a new version of FEU that supports wysiwyg editors, allowing your users to update their profile using a funky wysiwyg editor.
Translators: CGUserDirectory is in the TC and ready for you to do your thing. I'm just finalizing help now.

I am very excited about this! I've been trying to put something together like this, but didn't feel like I have the tech background.

Re: Coming Soon: CGUserDirectory
I'm curious. Will you be able to attach a photo, ala companydirectory? Will it only be accessible only through frontend? Or would an admin or editor be able to modify it as well?calguy1000 wrote: Hi all.

Re: Coming Soon: CGUserDirectory
CGUserDirectory reads data from the FrontEndUsers module. so the admin can adjust anything for a FEU
FEU handles images already.

Hey Calguy!
Will your new CGUserDirectory allow me to accomplish what I'm asking in this thread?
