Forgotten admin password

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Forgotten admin password

Post by bajingo »

Hello!

We have a website running with CMS Made Simple on Windows.  However we cannot update it due to forgetting the password for the 'Login to CMS Made Simple' page.  I've looked at previous posts but couldn't find any inspiration.  Maybe that was just me!

I'm sure that there's an easy/obvious solution.  :)

If you need any more details, please let me know.

Thanks.

Thanks so far Ronny - however regarding the 'cms_users_table' mentioned in the link, where would that be found  ???

As to further info someone else uploaded it then passed over the managment to us.  Hopefully that won't be too important.

If you need any further clarification please let me know.

Cheers!

That is the table in the database... In order to get back in the backend, you have to have DB-access to set a new password for the user.

Thanks very much guys.

After further findings out, its on CMS Simple Barbados 1.2 and our host is playing hard to get.  So we need to get them and then I can show them what to do thanks to you!

All the best,
