News Link open up correct menu

Hello,
I have a question on the news/calendar modules. I'm currently using EllNav right now. I'm listing on the homepage the "upcoming events". But when i click on the event link it just displays on that page the event text. I'd like the navigation to expand to the correct page that it's supposed to be on. Is there a way to do this?

When I still was new to CMSMS I asked the same thing. I don't think it's possible currently, but probably should be with some rewriting of the code. It's related to the popular request to display news details in a page with a separate template, that is the redirect when clicking on a news/event title.

Pisearch has this possibility to select what page the search results are presented on. I have no idea how easy/difficult it would be to use a similar redirect for the News and Calendar modules.

Bah... with pisearch you actually have to give it a alias name to open. I just with my page was smart enough...
