Logged out of Admin upon update - Moved to Product Support Forum

Hi All,

Its been a long while since I have had to submit a post for CMSMS.

I get logged out of the Admin Panel upon "Submit" or link selection in any area of the Admin panel when there is more than 20 seconds between updates, navigation or other event triggers.

I have upgraded to v1.5.1 running on MySQL 5.0.45 and PHP5.2.2. from v1.4.1

I use IE and I have cookies turned on and trusted site enabled for the URL I am updating.

The problem seems to occur when there is 20 seconds or more of lapse between submission of an update, event or link navigation.

It appears more likely to occur upon "Submit" than it does upon clicking "Apply" in the Layout or Pages section of the Admin panel.

The issue also seems more likely to occur when switching between browser windows - not sure on this one as it could still be the time between updates or events in the CMSMS Admin.

The "moduleinterface" file seems to be the mediator for events and navigation in the Admin panel. This file could be the source - not sure!

Overall, the issue acts like an activity timeout that many applications have for security purposes.

Can someone help me here?

Have you tried also with other browsers?
