Vertical menu: I dont want al buttons to have a page?

Post by denli »

Hi all,

I hope my title is correct for the following problem I have.

I have made a new design that uses a tab menu that only shows 1 level.

The second level is shown by a Vertical menu.
But I don't want all buttons to have a page.

The vertical menu is build up as:

parent (product group)
-child (product type)
--child (product)

The first 2 should only drop down to show the child's below.

I know that when you only have a horizontal menu that when I make a section-header and put children under it that this section header becomes a hover button/link that will show the children when hovering over the section header.

But when I use section header in the vertical menu it doesn't show the children under it only if I make the menu to show all.
I want to be able to click on the section header to make it show the children under it?

I hope this made some sens and I appreciate if someone can help me on this one?

Thanks in advance

Hello denli,

English isn't my first language, but if I understand your question right isn't an option to use an internal link, in stead of 'content' or the 'sectionheader'...
You can link this 'page' to the another relevant page, for instance the parent...
You can create several vertical menu items, all linked to only one page.

Hope you can use this,

Rolf  :D

Hey Denli,

Hahaha  :D
Ben jij Nederlands? Tjonge, zitten we daar even moeilijk te doen  ;)

Succes, Rolf
