Whats the best way of moving from 0.13 'Canary' to 1.51 'San Juan'?
What I've planned is to, take the old one to a new clean installation, to hopegully avoid most problems. Is there a neat way of doing this half automatic?
Any straight-on tips? Any known problems on the way? Any help appreciated.

- database backup
if you have any content type "news" in, change it to "content" and put the news plugin in.
- copy new files and do the upgrade.
a more detailed upgrade process is explained in the wiki (documentation)

superstoffe, have you searched the forum before posting ?
There are lots of upgrading threads.
Learn about the 1.1 era API break in them. And modules upgrades.
(hint : I suggest you upgrade with a 1.1 step at least)
