Modules can't be installed/uninstalled in CMSMS 0.11.1 with PostgreSQL

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Modules can't be installed/uninstalled in CMSMS 0.11.1 with PostgreSQL

Post by JohnJohn »

As the title says, I have CMSMS  0.11.1 on a server that runs PostgreSQL as its database (my sysadmin prefers its "real databse" qualities and I'm not qualified to argue!). Environment is otherwise *nix, Apache and recent PHP 4.*.

Modules appear to be turned off after install, and attempting to turn them on in the modules page fails, which is a bit of a showstopper!

Any ideas?

I've been working on this in the version in the Subversion repository.

Modules may still show up as "uninstalled" when you install CMS MS, but you can definitely activate them by clicking on the "install" link in the modules admin.

I know that there's going to be work on the installer in the near future, so I haven't looked at that yet. But please let me know if you run into any problems with the svn version.

(also, please let me know which version of Postgres. I'm testing with 7.4, which I know is not the most recent)

Thanks,
