Erratic Admin Loggin and kick out

All,

I updated my only CMS Made Simple site  yesterday from an early 1.2.3 to 1.5.1, now I have problems getting admin access to the site, sometimes it takes 5 to 10 attepts to get access to the admin section using the correct username and password.

This is frustrating but even more frustrating is that it will kick me out to the admin loggin page again at random intervals but usually when i click on a link to either goto a different part of the admin or to save any changes.

Then it takes another spell of random number attepts to get access again.

Any ideas as this is driving me mad.

You need 2 things...

1) Read the Read Me first posts and the How to get answers posts...

2) then be more full of info or get ignored...

Sorry just a million, 'my site broke' questions with little or no info, for us to help we have to try and replicate the problem to come up with a reason for it to happen and an answer or the answer is...

OK Sorry, my first time here and my first post, I've had no problems with CMS Made Simple upto now and this is my only CMS site. I've normally found the answeres to my problems by searching the posts but I've drawn a blank this time.

I don't have a server at home so i'm using my ISP's server which has:-

PHP 4.3.10 (cgi) (built: May  6 2005 14:05:38)
Server version: 4.1.11-Debian_4sarge7-log
MySQL client version: 5.0.32

All was OK on version CMS Made Simple 1.2.3 but i decided to update due to security issues and now i'm using CMS Made Simple 1.5.1.

Now I have the problem of an erratic amount of loggin attempts to the site admin before it will actually let me in, and then once i'm in it too often switches back to the admin loggin page when I try to save any changes or navigate around the admin section.

Not sure what other information I can add.

The ISP is PlusNet here in the UK

ok well if you are using your ISPs server you are in for all kinds of fun as they have a tendency to shove you on one with a ton of others and have out of date sofware, like PHP 4.3.10 (cgi) (built: May  6 2005 14:05:38)...

If you are serious about a site you need to find a real host, like me ...
