Long time listener, first time user : )

Post by irish »

I have to say I am extremely impressed with CMSMS. It is so flexible and expandable. I just done a rebuild of our company's website www.trocaire.org and there wasn't anything that I couldn't do.

Here is a list of modules that I used, I also created a lot of custom modules.
  • AjaxMadeSimple
  • Blogs
  • Captcha
  • CartMadeSimple
  • CMSMailer
  • FileManager
  • FrontEndUsers
  • ShopMadeSimple
Using version: 1.3 "cuba"

Very nice indeed.

There is no background color specified so I see you nice site and my ugly orange background on my high res monitor. I purposely keep my browser window a different color to make sure I never forget to add it. It can also make surfing interesting.

Please do yourself a favor and upgrade your site as soon as possible for security reasons.

Great site! Really nice to see the interactivity within in it

Questions:

1. For the blog, did you use the news module, BlogMS, or just the simple Blog module?

2. RSS; how did you implement the RSS link on the homepage, the old way through the news module, or using cgfeedmaker?

Judging by the URLs for the feeds and for the block entries I would say that he is using the old News RSS function and not cgfeedmaker and it looks like he is using "Blogs" for his blogs.

It is a very nice site. I am all for clean layouts and this site fits that ticket. Very well laid out!

Very nice looking site. It's clean and there is no confusion about what it is for.

With an aim like this, donations, I want to know with whom I am dealing. Good intro in the link to "Who we are", but it doesn't work (I didn't wait it out anyway). Didn't find an "About us" page in the Site Map... checking this now the Site Map link hangs as well. So, bad server? Entry page loads quickly though. Also to believe a claim I'd like an outside verification. A link from the official Catholic Church site would be the very thing.
