[solved] Problem importing database

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] Problem importing database

Post by robinmarek »

I'm trying to move a CMSMS website... I export a database from one phpmyadmin, then import it into another phpmyadmin on a different server.

Now, I try and import the database and I get this error:

I just get:

Error
There seems to be an error in your SQL query. The MySQL server error output below, if there is any, may also help you in diagnosing the problem

(lots of coding here)

MySQL said:

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w' at line 1

Is this something I'm doing wrong or is a hosting issue?

Don't worry, problem solved! After I exported it with no 'zipping' it seemed to import just fine!
