Formbuilder & Gallery: Unexpected character in input

Post by theredspecial »

Dear all,

A number of posts refer to the following error:

Code: Select all

Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /home/***/tmp/templates_c/FormBuilder^%%FF^FFF^FFF1E9A7%%module_db_tpl%3AFormBuilder%3Bfb_6.php on line 46

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/***/tmp/templates_c/FormBuilder^%%FF^FFF^FFF1E9A7%%module_db_tpl%3AFormBuilder%3Bfb_6.php on line 46
I have tried to use the solutions proposed in those posts (e.g. http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 202.0.html), but it does not work.  I figured out why.  The reasons is that using the CMSMS admin login to change the template does not work. As soon as I save my changes (removing the \-sign), the \ appears again. The weird thing is that \ show up in more spots the more often I save the template. I can remove every single on (I am sure of this), but somehow a few re-appear and subsequently more start to show up.

So: my question is: what can I do more to get rid of this error.
Also: the Album module generates the same problem, only this time with actual text (as to be seen by visitor)

Some additional info:

CMS Version1.5.1
CMSMailer1.73.14
Uploads1.4
Album0.9.3
EnhancedXSPF0.5.1
FormBuilder0.5.6

All help is appreciated!
