cgfeedmaker and Google reader

I'm using CGFeedMaker 1.0.3, CGExtensions 1.14.1 and cmsms 1.5.1. I created my new news feed. When I tried it with thunderbird - everything works fine - news article is published and it appears in thunderbird. But there is whole new story with google reader. When news article is published - nothing appears in google reader. How can I correct this? Do I need to set time to live value for this? Its now set to 0.

Also I had to remove the following line from the template:



FF and IE say that XML is not correcly formated when this line is in template. Is it possible to fix?
