Fck & Remote Images

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Ive just upgraded to the latest and find i cannot add remote images, when i submit it strips http:/ off the url  ??? is there a way to turn off this feature
