[SOLVED] Page-Specific Metadata bug?

Post by TheLastLegion »

I've the latest version of CMS made simple 1.5.1 and using my custom template, in my header part of the template i have this:

Code: Select all

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<__html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<title>{sitename} - {title}</title>
{metadata}
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="English" />
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
{stylesheet}
</head>
and for page-specific metadata i added some description like:
"The Official Site of Sewanhaka Inter-District Model United Nations Conference"

yet what happens in when i load up the page in the browser (i tried in Google Chrome & Firefox) i've noticed that this meta-data appears in the top left corner of the web-page, i thought this was supposed to be "invisible" and only read by robots?

If further eloboration is needed, please let me know i'd be glad to provide
