calling some udt code from another udt code

I'm new to CMSMS, and I find it very well designed.

I'm trying to make my own UDT that display the content of a TAG or another UDT,
I searched the forums / faq / ...
And I found how to call some Module or a smarty template variable, using global $gCms,

But nowhere I found how to call a TAG or another UDT from the php code of a UDT.

Any help would be welcome !

I remember Calguy1000 had posted an example of such a call monthS ago.
Have you tried to search the forum with google's site attribute ?
