My upgrade from 1.4 went great!!! I'm just wondering what the 'image' and 'thumbnail' attributes do... Is this different from content_image???

Yes, I have tried using these fields too; but it is not evident where they are displayed.  Is there a tag that displays the image and/or thumbnail?

The new tag is called "content_image" and you use it like:

{content_image block='image1'}
