IE6 Sub-Menu Not Showing [Solved]

Post by Banners »

Hi There,

After customising the menu and default stylesheets in our deployment of CMS Made Simple 1.3.1 [Havana], everything is how we would like in IE7, Firefox, Safari and Opera. However, in IE6, it refuses to play ball. You can see a work in progress here...

Specifically, our issue it to do with the behaviour of the sub-menu items which is controlled by the display: CSS attribute. Even with IE6-specific hacks, I simply can't figure out how to get this working. If anyone can help I'd be grateful - or is it just a case of abandoning IE6 if we want to go ahead with this design?

Cheers,

There should be javascript file that's needed for CSS menu to work in IE6. That is missing from your template. Look for the default menu templates what file it is.

Awesome - a little tweak to that file and I think we're sorted. Thanks :-)
