Is it possible to install modules without using the module manager? My hosting provider is very likely to change the, very low, upload limit there is and i keep getting errors when I try to install formbuilder to make a contactform in my cms. I'd like to know if there is a way to manually install modules instead of using the automated system and if so, what I need to do.
Thank you,
K.

Re: installing a module using ftp?
Hi,
yes it is.
Upload the extracted module to the modules folder on your webserver.
Than you can install it under "Extensions / Modules".

Re: installing a module using ftp?
Just download a module .zip file, extract it and upload the contents to the modules folder of your CMS install.
(A zip file is available for most modules in the Forge, if not you will have to install the module using a .xml on a local install and upload the folder it creates under modules).
See also the module installation instructions in the Documentation.
