[ SOLVED] UPGRADE .... blank page

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[ SOLVED] UPGRADE .... blank page

Post by gianpiero »

I'm sorry if already explained, I'have searched into the forum but my problem is this:

History:
-  the version installed : version 1.2.3
-  database backupped local also
-  all files backupped in local and deleted into the web server
-  config.php saved original, on site
-  cache and templates cache deleted (and I'm sure I have not "view-files filters" on my ftp or siteadmin,  no htaccess into the  install/upgrades folder )
-  all files of latest stable V. are upped ( cmsmadesimple-1.4.1-full )
-  no other original 1.2.3 files on site ( only "my uploads" and config.php)
-  chmodded properly

When I go to my install/upgrades via browser only blank page appears.

Even if .. I go to my install ( like to do a fresh install ) via browser the frontend install page appear and I could go on...
I say this only for giving complete information,  but I don't need this, I need upgrading !

Thanks in advance  for suggestion

The correct path to upgrade is install/upgrade.php

aahhhggrrr  ;D

difference among
install/upgrades/
install/upgrade.php

I intended upgrades ( that's a folder ) instead of upgrade.php ( that's a file   ::))

thanks a lot  ;)

(  !!!  note that I'm using  3 cmsmadesimple since two years on three sites,
that's mean that the way-out of newbye state is never finished  ;D  )

bye
