After successful install admin page has PHP errors

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

After successful install admin page has PHP errors

Post by alex876 »

Hi there, I've been looking for a system that give me the option to have full control whilst still being user firndly.  CMSMS seems to be that system.

I've successfully installed, however, when I try to access the admin page, I get this error:
Warning: main(/home/aamediac/public_html/grendel/admin/themes/default/login.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/aamediac/public_html/grendel/admin/login.php on line 195

Warning: main(/home/aamediac/public_html/grendel/admin/themes/default/login.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/aamediac/public_html/grendel/admin/login.php on line 195

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/aamediac/public_html/grendel/admin/themes/default/login.php' for inclusion (include_path='/usr/lib/php:.:/usr/php4/lib/php:/usr/local/php4/lib/php') in /home/aamediac/public_html/grendel/admin/login.php on line 195
I'm running CMSMS version 1.41 on a Linux Sever with PHP4.  (I thought it might be happier with PHP5 but when I switched I got one additional error!!!)

I did an FTP install from Filezilla.  The sample website displays fine.

Can anyone help??  Thank you.

ps. I had a look through these forums and FAQs and troubleshooting and Google but couldn't find this error.

Check if you have admin/themes/default/login.php
maybe broken ftp-transfer
re-upload admin folder

Many thanks, FileZilla hadn't uploaded the folders, I've never encountered that problem before.  Is there a fullproof way to upload files apart form the shell method?

May be monitoring the FTP upload log. May be using FZ3 "compare" feature. And using CMSms validity checking in the admin panel.
