My Personal Website

Post by tyman00 »

I put together a website for my family/friends to keep in contact with me. At least those not on Facebook/MySpace.

I may eventually build my own template/theme but I just modified the LoadFoo theme from http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/

For those of you that I keep contact with feel free to sign up for RSS and/or e-Mail updates.

Modules Used:
  • Album
  • Captcha
  • CGExtensions
  • CGFeedMaker
  • Comments
  • Custom Content
  • Edit Area (For the admin)
  • FrontEnd Users
  • News
  • Newsletter Made Simple
  • Self Registration
  • Statistics

Edit: Here is a link to a post on how I created a RSS Feed for the Album module: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... #msg133122

Very Nice site  :)
What version of CMSMS are you running on the site
What did you use for the RRS feed on your home page
I incounted a problem on the news pages in the Add comment section

thanks

Only looked at your link to "Here is a link to a post on how I created a RSS Feed for the Album module:" after I replied the first time, got all the answers 1.4.1 and CGFeedMaker

Thanks for that code, I am sure I can use it in the future

Thanks for the comments. I figured out what the problem was you saw. I was working on my news feed and used {get_template_vars} in my News Detail Template and forgot to take it out. Thanks for the heads up!
