Template with left sidebar and 2 columns [Solved]

Hi,

I've just started using CMSMS two days ago so I'm still trying to get my head around this.  I would like to make a template similar to the CSSMenu left + 1 column (that was part of the default installation), except I want the menu in the left sidebar and 2 columns.  Any pointers in how I can get this done?  Bear in mind I am a database programmer and haven't done HTML/CSS in many years, so be easy on me

So far I've tried copying the CSSMenu left + 1 column and tried to look at how the CSSMenu top + 2 columns set up th etwo columns, but haven't got it going yet.

I found the solution:

look at http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/Full_Themes.html and use one of the existing themes that has three columns.  I used the mdblue one.
