I've seen this problem three times now, and I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or not.
If I save certain code, and then reopen the code to make changes...everything after the new code is lost. I believe the new code isn't being re-rendered correctly when I try to edit again and the "second" save is what's actually causing the data loss.
One example I know causes this problem is iframes. If I use an iframe to call a remotely hosted form, and then go back to edit it again...it doesn't show up.
Can someone tell me what I've done wrong?
Thanks
EDIT:
It appears to be a problem with the way code was pasting into the WYSIWYG....

Re: Certain code in templates / pages doesn't save /edit correctly
Are you trying to do this in page edit mode using tiny editor in the off mode?...
tiny does have a tendency to eat certain types of code, I believe the latest ver. of tiny has a tick box for it to not show when first opening a page to edit then you can turn it on when needed, this may help with what you are doing...
