Blank pages, nothing shows

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Blank pages, nothing shows

Post by xgd »

Hello good people of CMSMS.

Basically i just downloaded the latest CMSMS, and im trying to test it localy coz i wanna turn my existing site into an cms. anyway i put all the files in the root folder, and i didnt know how to check if its working so i went to the preview.php page, and couldnt connect to DB (didt know where to set the parameters). So i fixed that in lib/config.php (or smth like that).

But when i tried again the page was blank, nothing showed, and when i tried to view /admin/index.php nothing would happen, like the server wasnt running.

So why is it blank and how do  i check if its working ? How do i log into the admin area, so im able to do what i want ?

Thanks  :o

Fixed it. Just checked index.php and installed it, i thought by installation was meant just to copy all the files to the root. My mistake, sorry, its all good  ;D
