Sitemaps Made Simple Problem

Post by tosd »

Hello,

I have tried installing Sitemaps Made Simple (1.1.3) into CMS Made Simple (1.4.1) but nothing appears under the tabs. They are all blank. I have tried installing it a couple of times but no luck. Can anyone help?

Have you installed CGExtensions?
Have you enabled debug in congi.php and look in server error logs?

Thanks for the feedback Alby.

CGE Extensions are enabled. I tried turning on debug mode but I have difficulty interpreting the results. For example with a mysql query it may print error[0] - does that mean there is or is not an error?

In checking the database I don't think any tables have been added. I presume that there should be some.

There is no problem with accessing the database for other purposes and other modules install without any difficulty. I am really having trouble getting to first base with this on.

Any help appreciated.

Error(0) is: no error

Check in html source and error logs also

Thankyou Alby.

I checked the html source as you suggested and even though nothing was displayed the xml information appeared to be in the source.

Then at the bottom of the source code I found this:

Fatal error:  Call to a member function _DisplayTemplateList() on a non-object in /home/bbtclub/public_html/modules/CGExtensions/CGExtensions.module.php on line 798

You mentioned "You have edit a page for create sitemap.xml in cms_root?". What did you mean by that Alby. I am sorry but I don't understand.

[Solved] Re: Sitemaps Made Simple Problem

Post by tosd »

It turned out that there was a problem with my CGExtensions module installation, not the Sitemap Made Simple module. I re-installed the latest version of CGExtensions (1.10.1) and everything seems fine now.

Many thanks for your helpful suggestions Alby.
