"Alt" Menu Tag to improve Navigation Menu

Post by claire »

Hi

I'm currently using CMSMadeSimple version 1.4.1 on a Debian computer.  I set up the mdblue full theme template and I'm looking to include an alt tag for my navigation menu so that when the user hovers over a text-area/link information or a drop down box is displayed with more information as I can't find where the is to include the alt and not too sure how to do this, help is very much appreciated.  All of my links are external so on one of the pages I added some text under Description (title attribute):........  but nothing changed.

I would be grateful for any tips!!

Hi Claire,

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly here.

The alt tag is used for image (img) tags, as in Alternative text. The title attribute sounds like the one you want.

When you use the default CMSMS theme, do you see the titles displayed? I do.
