Trying to add CMSimple to Windows 2003 / Apache & vhosts

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Trying to add CMSimple to Windows 2003 / Apache & vhosts

Post by mcoon »

I'm trying to install CMS Simple to my windows 2003 installation. My problem is that I can't seem to get it to run at all. I've tried to run the install.php?debug=1 , but that doesn't even generate any output. If you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate it. The version of CMS is 1.3

install.php?debug=1
is valid for 1.4.1+ only

Solved. I removed WAMP and CMS made simple, changed to a really minimal CMS, and put everything under my normal MS Windows 2000 Apache install. Really, that's too bad as I would have liked to get this product working. Unfortunately, it seems as if it is not designed for MS Win products.

Under normal circumstances, I would have put this product under Linux/Apache, but as I'm in a windows shop, I was stuck with WAMP on windows. I am so not surprised that most web servers are running on Linux/UNIX.
