Nice :) little slower then it needs to be (and I’m on a business class broadband cable T3)... minify and gzip, cache the pages on both browser end and server side will all help... also why the HTTPS... I only use them on sites that are in need of that... i.e. a hospital or shop taking money...  other wise it just wastes time talking to the server for nothing...

Over all pleasing... I like it... :)
have a great day

Thanks. Ya, I need to speed up a couple things. Still working on it.   :-\

Https is needed on the cabin pages when you book one. I used thickbox to embed an iframe from a reservation company that the client uses (which is crap by the way, but they wanted to stay with them. I had no control over the styling of those pages which erks me  >:() and wanted the page that houses the iframe to be secure so that the viewer sees the lock.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but only the Cabin pages should be https. Home, about, services and so on should be just http.
Please tell me that is what you are seeing  :-[

Ya, that page has a book online button, which launches thickBox and the Iframe. So that is all good :)
Thanks!

Great site.  Love the layout, the navigation is nice and easy.  Would it be possible to list the extensions you used in the development of this site?

Cheers!

That is a very nice website :D

I have 1 question for you:

I wonder how you have made the following page: https://www.cobbly.com/3-Bedrooms.html
Is that just the normal content module or have you used some kind of module where you can add new cabbins?

What did you use for the "play" button in the galleries?

Nice one! I like the look and feel, the haptic... directly makes me want to book some weeks in a cabin for real relaxing ;)

Only the actual booking process looks a bit out of place (is it comming from some other site?).

Congrats!

Best

Beautiful website.  I have built 4 websites that place very well on SERP results under google within weeks of posting.  This site is not doing so well in that regard, at least for "gatlinburg mountain cabins" which is your densist keywords on the home page.  Your Alexa rank is very good and you have a smokin 1080 pages indexed on Live and 150 on Google.

I have a couple of suggestions:

get the url www.cobbly-gatlinburg-smoky-mountain-cabins.com.  Move the site there and use a 301 redirect to send cobbly.com over there.

Work through all the web pages in CMSMS and tune each pages Title clause keyword clause and description clause to make sure the keywords that are the most dense for that page appear in all three.  Do not put more than 10 keyword phrases in the keyword clause and make sure you align all these with the content on the page.

If you do this, I think you will start popping up in the top 10 search results.  Also make sure you place alt tage for each image with the following in them

"Cobbly.com-Gatlinburg smoky mountain cabins for rent"

Thanks everyone for the comments  :)

@ nhaack.  Unfortunately, yes, the booking pages are coming from another site. And we had no control over it  :(

@xazzz. Not really understanding you, sorry  :-\

@rancov. Thanks for the tips! I'll pass them over our SEO guy  :)
