Hi,
I'm in need of a custom module. I would program it myself but just don't have the time right now. It will need to be similar to the cataloger with a few additions/changes in the functionality. Right now the client uses loopnet.com to manage property listings. They want to eliminate that and do it all through cms. They need to be able to post all of the same information that they can in loopnet (you can go to loopnet.com to see what info is listed with properties). Can I get a quote on this?

This project is ready to go if anyone is interested in quoting for it.

point4design,
Can you be a bit more specific on which parts of loopnet should be used.
Should the same selection criteria apply?
Usage of categories needed?
Should the same database setup be used (so conversion is not all that difficult)?
Search with wildcards needed on properties?
1 template or multiple to show the properties?
Are there maximum values to expect (ie not more then 10 pictures per property)?
You state that you don't have the time now. What is the expected time of readiness?

Re: Need Custom Module - Property Listings
Sorry for not being clear. I won't have any need for the search functionality done by loopnet. Just listing the properties. It will be one firm so they won't have many properties anyway so no search is needed. I'm guessing most of this can actually already be done by the cataloger (maybe all?). We can set a limit of pictures per property but I would want it kind of high, 15-20.
We are hoping to have this module in place by Oct. 20th.

Re: Need Custom Module - Property Listings
Here are two examples of listings, this will help you know the functionality needed:
http://www.loopnet.com/xNet/Mainsite/Li ... code=17830&
http://www.loopnet.com/xNet/Mainsite/Li ... code=17830&
Notice the buttons under Options on the right. We won't need Comparables, Demographics, Get Financing. But the other options will need to be built into the template/module.
Hopefully this helps. I'm really hoping this will be a way for someone to make a quick buck as I don't think it will be too difficult to get done.

So that would mean at least the data entered via:
http://www.loopnet.com/xNet/MainSite/Listing/PdfDownload/LoopNetForSaleForm.pdf
Next to this:
- multiple images to be connected (thumbnail and more).
- multiple files that can be opened (pdf's in the examples).
Who will do layout things?

Yes, that's exactly right. I have a designer that would do all of the layout for the front end.
