News Archive

Hey, hoping someone can lend a hand with this as Ive been stuck with it for a while.

Im having problems getting the news archive to work and archive news items automaticaly.

I have news posts here and as you can see some of them are years old and I have gone into the options within news and set "number of days before an article expires" to 2.

I have then created a new page to serve as my archive page and put the following code on there to show only archived items.

{cms_module module='news' summarytemplate='Main News' category='Home News' pagelimit='10' dateformat="%B %d %Y " showarchive="1"}

Problem is when I visit the archive page nothing is shown.

Any ideas anyone? Have I missed some settings?
