Modules problem in 1.3.1?

I have added the media module on TinyMCE but the file browser doesn't show any Flash video (it shows all other kind of files though). I've checked permissions and they're ok.

I then tried to check if there was a problem with TinyMCE and found that I'm running version 2.4.7, which is marked "incompatible" in the modules manager - which, incidentally, doesn't allow me to install any of the previous versione (either marked as "cannot download" or "newer version installed").

I also get a number of lines of PHP code at the top, such as this:

Any idea what's going on? Are the two problems related?
