Tiny MCE Problem in Internet Explorer

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a problem with TinyMCE external link plugin.

When I'm trying to make a link, I'm typing my text, selecting it, clicking on the correct icon in the TinyMCE toolbar and filling the URL, no problem. But when I choose to change the target, I click on the target dropdown and my IE hangs and my Vista says "Windows Explorer stopped working".

I'm using CMSMS last 1.4.1 and TinyMCE 2.4.5. It works on other browsers, and I've never had any problem like this with previous CMSMS/TinyMCE versions.

Does anyone have an idea of what should be my problem, or is it a bug of new TinyMCE 2.4.5 ?

This seems more like a problem with your IE browswer than with tiny,  download another browser and try that... firefox should work.  I would guess the problem wont be fixable without reinstalling vista. just a guess

Thanks for your quick reply. I tested the Tiny MCE test site, and there's still the same problem. I though guess it's either a TinyMCE problem or an IE one !

What do you think I should do ?

Tested with IE 6 and 7 and I have not problems

First of all, thank you Alby for you quick answer. The computer that has problems runs Windows Vista. Do you think it has something to do with it (if your test on IE7 was on Vista, I don't know what to say :s)

Mayby if you update to the 2.4.7 TinyMCE.

It never hurts to try.

I tested on XP only but I have a user with vista and don't report problem

In fact I did not see that there was an available update . I updated the module and I'm going to try ... Hopefully it will be ok.

I'll give you some feedback shortly.

Update was useless if it did not work even at Tiny site
You have a problem with your IE.
Have you tried with other browsers?
