Email this page

Post by rfuste »

Hello!

I've looked all around the forum and googled cmsmadesimple.org, and am unsuccessful in finding out whether CMSMS has a module or tag for the option to create a "Email this page" link that, when clicked, would create a short form that would allow the user to forward that page's URL to someone via e-mail.  Is that already available?  If so, I would really appreciate it if someone could direct me to the right topic thread.

If it's not available, does anyone know if it's somewhere in the "future wish list"?  I currently use the print function, and would love to add the "email this page" link or button link to my pages as well.

Thank you so much for your help!

Robert

Along with the TellAFriend plugin http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/tellafriend/
I've used this method by RonnyK which worked for me:

In the page www.lasik.lt I used "Thickbox 3" javascript library to create a tell-a-friend form which appears in frontend when clicked.
The page is in Lithuanian, but just click on the "Pasakyk Draugui" at the top of the page and you will see how it works.
