CMS Content Issues

Post by Henry Judy »

I am now getting this error after we moved to a new server. We have the website moved but no Navigational bar. In CMS panel all pages are there but under TYPE: I get this:
--Add Me - contenttype_content --

What do I need to do to get the navigation back. This --Add Me - contenttype_content -- is on all pages
Thanks
Henry

Seems like not all the files are transferred correctly.... Try to move the files to the new server and make sure that all are transferred correctly..

Ronny,
I just checked. All the files are there. When I go into the content on CMS panel all content is there. All pages there but nothing on Navigation bar. Any ideas???

I recently also did a move from 1 server to another and got similar "-Add Me -" problems. Lots of them.

Then I found out that in config.php file I wrote wrong server paths to the files.
Double-check your "config.php" file.

Did you install the site there, and create the config.php there that way, or did you copy config.php as well and modify that by hand?

You could put the config.php aside, and try running the installer again, BUT without the options selected to "create tables" and "insert default content". That way a new config.php is generated, but content wont be harmed....

So when doing an install make sure that the two checkboxes are UNCHECKED....
