CMSMS Accessibility

I'm using CMSMS wherever I can and have a new project for which one of the key requirements is accessibility for those with disablitities. I put a test installation through an accessibility checker, and got a couple of failures, though I'm not sure if these are down to my themes. Has anybody implemented a CMSMS site for accessibility? If so, how did it go?
