My system: CMS Made Simple 1.4.1, FrontEndUsers 1.2.0, PHP: 5+
The issue: When people try to reset their password by clicking on the link "Forget your password? ", they are getting the proper email to the mail box with a link like this to click on: http://mysite.com/index.php?mact=FrontE ... eturnid=15
Once clicked on and entered the password-reset page, there are three text fields, one for the username, one for the auto-generated code, and the other two are for the new password to be input. The problem is that people keep getting an "invalide password" message, unless the password is set to be exactly the same as the username. Nothing else works but the username as the new password.
I am wondering if this could be a bug since I have getting so many complains and I would like to give them an answer.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Re: FEU - issue with password reset
I am hoping anyone can help me with this.
One more thing is that my site was upgraded from CMSMS 1.1 to 1.41.

which is a different format to yours. I see you are using FEU 1.2.0. I'm on 1.5.2 so I suggest you upgrade in the first instance and see what difference that makes.

Thank you Nick, I will try to upgrade it today.
Re: FEU - issue with password reset
Hi Nick,
Thank you for your suggestion. I upgraded my FEU and also found out that the new password might need to contain at least 3-4 characters and 2 numbers to make it "valid". Once the new password is set, then I can go to the "change settings" to make the password whatever I want.
Not sure if this is the case, but it seems work now. Really appreciate your help.
