Re: cannot expand/collapse sections in admin "Pages" panel

Hi, I'm back

The system administrator is back. He modified the php_memory and raise it up to 32M....

However same problem.

The config file permission are still at 0666... Is it a problem ?

When I'm doing a system verification it tells me :
4 Files Not found
Files Not found:
./images/.htaccess
./plugins/.htaccess
./doc/.htaccess
./uploads/.htaccess

I think this is because I cannot write hidden files on the webdav system. Could it be the problem ?

Finally,  is the text report of system info :
Cms Version: 1.4.1

Installed Modules:

FileManager: 0.4.1
ModuleManager: 1.2.1
Printing: 0.2.5
nuSOAP: 1.0.1
MenuManager: 1.5.1
TinyMCE: 2.4.5

Config Information:

php_memory_limit:
process_whole_template: true
max_upload_size: 180000000
default_upload_permission: 664
assume_mod_rewrite: false
page_extension:
internal_pretty_urls: false
use_hierarchy: false

Php Information:

safe_mode: Off (False)
phpversion: 4.4.8
memory_limit: 32M
max_execution_time: 30
gd_version: 2
session_save_path: /var/lib/php/session (0770)

Server Information:

Server Api: apache2handler
Server Db Type: MySQL (mysql)
Server Db Version: 4.1.20

I would apreciate any help

thanks in advance

Strange you don't show any php_memory_limit: ...

this field is empty because the corresponding line in the config file was discarded (comment). If I uncomment it, the 32M limit declared in config.php appears (but the problem is still there).
However, the real php memory_limit is well detetected at 32M.

Any hint on what happens ? I have try to reinstall unchecking the "create database" and the other checkbox....didn't change anything.

This is quite strange since I have 5 other sites on 5 different server that works perfectly....

The http logS (especialy the error.log) should help pointing to the culprit.

Hello & Thxs for your help !

I dont have direct access to server side logs. However, I have made some other tests.

Since the php memory upgrade up to 32M I have only tested the CMSMS on safari (mac os x). And, I just tested it under Firefox and gess what ? it works. Before the memory upgrade I didn't work into firefox or other browser whatever the plateform.

Further investigations revealed that the problem in safari is related to javascript since when I desactivate javascript, everything works.

So my Problem had two source : The php memory AND a javascript problem in safari.

Thanks for your Help

Me again !

Well, desactivating javascript in safari works but then tynimce can't launch.

In firefox on mac the behavior is quite strange since sometimes it works and sometimes no. Don't know why...
However tynymce works well in firefox.

How can javascript interfere with the expand/collapse function ? Why this does not happen on other server (I have several other in which, everything is working even with javascript enabled..) ? Quite strange

Now you know why Safari is not a supported admin browser yet.
