Ell-Nav Menu Accessibility Skip Links

In the interests of accessible menus, is it possible with the Ell-Nav menu to have a 'Skip menu/jump to contents' link at the top of the main menu with an internal link to say the contents area? (it could be a fixed  link to a particular bookmark e.g. 'start' which people could impliment in their templates.) If this is then given a class it could be hidden with CSS for your normal stylsheet, but perhaps displayed for others?

This may already be possbile but I cannot find it in the discussion group for this particular menu and skip links are pretty important for accessibility!

Anyone have any ideas?
