Smarty Error and No Themes on Standard Install
Smarty Error and No Themes on Standard Install
Hello All,
I did the basic install and thought everything went just fine. This was not my first install at all.
I received this error on the top of the pages:
string(76) "Smarty error: unable to read resource: "module_db_tpl:Printing;linktemplate""
on these pages:
http://www.theshoppingbaglady.com/index.php
Also, when I logged into Admin to upload a new Theme ... I find the Theme tab is not there at all.
Is this a hosed install? It is on 1and1.com and frankly, it took too long to do this install, I'd prefer not to have to do it again.
Customer not moving so that option not available.
Any assistance is appreciate,
J4 Web

Update: Smarty Error and No Themes on Standard Install
I have been analyzing files on FTP and I was missing 3 folders under the modules. I am uploading those now and seeing if that makes a difference.
Will advise.
Thanks!

OK not helping ... still have the error and no themes.
I think I have to attempt a Re-Install ... what files do I have to delete and / or reload to do a re-install?
Thanks for your assistance,

No, with checksum you can check if you have missed/broken files/directories (script report any modify from original installation)j4web wrote: Are you telliing to delete that folder, upload a new one or ??

Still Have Smarty Error -- Themes Solved w New Install
Thanks for that info ... I went with the 1.3.1 install as the 1.4.1 does not have a zip version on the site.
So I did the re-install and it did fix all my theme issues ... yeah!
But the Smarty Error is still there ...
string(76) "Smarty error: unable to read resource: "module_db_tpl:Printing;linktemplate""
Any ideas on how to fix this?
TIA,
